The Beothuk people mainly wore caribou clothing because they were warm and light. The fur was worn inside mainly for comfort. The womens were usually responsible for making the clothes. Fresh skin were scraped to get rid of any flesh or fat on it. They were then rubbed with the animals brain to make it smooth. The fur was then stretched upon a wooden frame to dry. After that, it would be rubbed forcefully upon a rock to make it soft. Shirts were made to go from neck to knee. In the summer, they went naked apart for a flap of deer skin hanging over their belt.
As for transportation, the Beothuk uses canoes to travel on water, and just their two feet to travel over land with the occasion use of sled in the winter when the ground is thick with snow.
